A.V. WIGLEY

Funeral services were held at the tabler Funeral Home on July 23 for Mr. Almerine V. Wigley, aged 90 years, who died in Austin on July 22 at 5:00 p.m. The service was conducted by Dean H.E. Speck of the Church of Christ. Interment was in the City cemetery with the following pallbearers: John H. Corner, Irwin Nichols, Robert Corner, Bobbie Joe Rogers, Jimmie Turner and Eugene Jenkins.

Mr. Almerine was a native of Alabama and came to Texas 12 years ago. He was born October 30, 1855. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. J.T. Bass of Tyler, Mrs. J.S. Corning of Brownsville, Mrs. T.W. Nichols of San Marcos and Mrs. B.F. Cowley of Sipe Springs; 24 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Milton Wigley of Houston.
